Recognising West Ham United’s greatest achievement at Wembley, the one and a quarter times life-size bronze statue depicts the three World Cup heroes Bobby Moore, Sir Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters lifting the European Cup Winners’ Cup trophy in 1965.

This commemorates a performance that launched the Club onto the world stage after two second-half goals from Alan Sealey saw West Ham overcome German side TSV Munich 1860.

The statue was unveiled on 31st September 2021 before West Ham's home Europa League match against Rapid Vienna.

The plinth also contains Martin Peters' ashes as a tribute to the player.
