Groundbreakers Immersive Trail and Guide
(Click here for Groundbreakers Parkipedia page)

Groundbreakers is a new online guide that unearths and brings to life some of the histories whose physical traces, like the rivers and tunnels which criss-cross the Park, are now largely forgotten or hidden from sight.

There are nine information plaques within the Park which contain links designed to be viewed using a mobile device to show videos and information about that area. The official map showing the location of these plaques can be seen by clicking here. See also the trail’s Parkipedia Page for photos of the plaques and of their general locations.

Book Recommendation
(Click here for Parkipedia's "Useful Reading" section for other recommendations)

I have recently ready and enjoyed Dave Hill’s new book “Olympic Park: When Britain Built Something Big” which was written as part of the ten-year commemorations.

It is a detailed and exhaustively researched history of the development of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from its origins as an idea through to delivery, transformation and legacy. Highly recommended.

Park Walks Videos

These "Park Walks" videos were made by me as a result of the travel restrictions imposed during the Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020-22 as a way of helping my fellow Park Champions stay in touch with what's going on in the Park.

These are the latest two walks. The full series is listed on the Park Walks page.

There are many other videos of interest listed on the main Videos page.
