The Water Polo Arena was one of the temporary venues created for the 2012 games. With a seating capacity of 5,000 spectators, it housed a competition pool, warm-up pool and VIP, press, athlete and spectator anciliary areas.

It was made from a kit of parts sourced from and returned to the supply chain. The roof was made from inflatable plastic cushions that were recyclable. It cost just £13m to build.
