Park Live was a temporary visitor attraction for the 2012 Games mounted within the Rive Lea in the North of the Park. It was a combination of a double-sided video wall that could be viewed by thousands of spectators seated up the grassy banks each side of the river and a performance/presentation space that could be used by DJs and entertainers when the main screens were not in use.
It proved to be hugely popular during the games with up to 15,000 people watching at any one time. It is estimated that over the entirely of London 2012, more than a million visitors watched Park Live.
Park Live was sponsored by British Airways and the National Lottery.
