The ‘bit.fall’ artwork by German artist Julius Popp was a large-scale temporary water feature on the Olympic Park underneath the Stratford Walk bridge by the London Aquatics Centre. It was removed after the 2012 Games.
It consisted of computer-controlled waterfalls, each creating a continuous cascade of words, formed of water droplets taken from the Waterworks River below. The words were chosen at random from live news feeds.
